About Me
Biography: I attended St. Christopher\\\'s School in Richmond, Virginia and graduated in 1996. I was Course 2 at MIT and served as Consul, Proconsul, Annotator, Tribune, Historian, Asst. House Manager, and Peterson Chair at Sigma Chi. I was also a decathlete on the Track & Field team for three years. After graduation I served on the Executive Committee of Sigma Chi as one of the Balfour Representatives.

I spent a year in New York working as an IB analyst at J.P. Morgan & Co. before returning to Virginia to work on Mark Warner\\\'s successful campaign for Governor. After a year as his Special Assistant to the Secretary of Finance I entered the University of Virginia School of Law.

In 2005-2006 I clerked for Justice Barbara Milano Keenan of the Supreme Court of Virginia. After that, I took a job as a litigator at Williams Mullen in Richmond, Virginia. In 2011, I again clerked for then-Judge Keenan, this time on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. I then joined McGuireWoods LLP as an attorney before being appointed Deputy Secretary of Agriculture and Forestry by Governor Terence R. McAuliffe in 2014. After more than two years in that position, I then accepted an appointment as Virginia\\\'s Deputy Attorney General for Civil Litigation in 2017.
