Renovation Wins Preservation Achievement Award!

The renovation won a coveted Preservation Achievement Award from the Boston Preservation Alliance!

The renovation of 532 Beacon was one of only ten projects in Boston to be recognized with this prestigious award this year, which honors outstanding achievements in historic preservation in Boston. We join past winners such as Trinity Church, Fenway Park and many other notable Boston landmarks. On top of this great award, public voting rated our project as the “fan favorite” among the ten award winners!

Capital Campaign Success

The renovation was made possible by the incredible success of the Beacon to the Future Capital Campaign.

Brothers across many decades and eras came forward to pledge support for this historic undertaking, helping to ensure that future generations of MIT students will be able to call Alpha Theta Sigma Chi home.

Dedication Weekend a Huge Success!

On the weekend of November 14-16, our home was (re-)dedicated with great fanfare. An MIT Community Open House on Friday night shared the beautiful results of our renovation, and on Saturday Alpha Theta alumni traveled from near and far to come together in celebration of this historic milestone for Alpha Theta.
